Requirements

Requirements for JFusion are as follows;

  • Joomla! 1.5.8+
  • PHP 5.0+ (5.3.+ are supported in JFusion 1.2.2 and above)
  • MySQL 4.1.x+
  • cURL Library for PHP (necessary for some plugins to perform correctly, and jfusion functions)

Require Curl

dokuwiki
joomla_ext
magento
moodle
oscommerce
smf
smf2
vbulletin
wordpress

Recommendations

  • php memory limit at least 32mb (NOTE: This is mainly a problem when running frameless mode), when running without frameless default 16mb should be enough. This is since frameless is like running two software at once.

Incompatible software(s)

The following programs/plugins/etc are incompatible with jfusion: SH404SEF should work if you enable full url parsing in the jfusion plugin.

  • sh404sef (joomla plugin) - Discuss in Forums:here SH404SEF JFusion plugin: here
  • phpbb-SEO (phpbb3 plugin) - works, but not in frameless mode.
  • VBSEO (vbulletin plugin) - works, but not in frameless mode. Discuss in the forums here and Read this.
  • CSS in your software templates ! Frameless mode is great but you often need to “play with the CSS” for either Joomla or your “Plugged in” software.
  • vBulletin without a valid license
  • vBulletin - the redirect plugin will not work with custom vbulletin admincp and modcp directories (a fix is planned).
  • Certain plugins for vBulletin may not work - see the vBulletin specific documentation.
  • JoomSuite User's 'Reactivate' plugin - Source: here
  • Frameless doesn't display well in IE6. Try jfusion.org itself as an example.

Did you find some software(s) that is not compatible with jfusion ? Too shy to add it to the wiki here ? Please reply to this thread: Incompatible software
