Installation

Requirements

Before proceeding ahead with the installation it would be a good idea to check whether or not your server meets the requirements necessary to run JFusion. Check the Requirements here.

Basic Installation

To make the installation of JFusion easier to understand, we have divided it into various parts. The following document enlists these various steps and links to their corresponding documents. So let's get Started! :-D

  • Package Installation: Covers installation of the JFusion package consisting of the core component, modules and plugins.
  • Configuring a JFusion Plugin: Covers the procedure to be followed to setup a JFusion plugin. Also tells how to set plugins as Master and Slaves.
  • User Sync: Syncing users between different software.

Additional Installation and Configuration

  • Visual Integration: Covers creating a wrapper or frameless link for the integrated software(s).
  • Module Guide: Configuring and publishing various modules installed as part of the JFusion Package like Activity Module, Login Module etc.
  • Plugin Guide: Configuring and publishing various plugins installed as part of the JFusion Package like Search plugin, Discuss Plugin etc.

Uninstallation

When uninstalling you must first disable any Mods that have been activated for the plugins you are using (Auth Mod/Redirect Mod.. ) and so forth.

When that is done you can uninstall jfusion.
