Preventing Joomla admin lockout with Magento plugin
Because this is not covered elsewhere some good advice.
1. After installation try everything out with Joomla! as master.
2.Now login to Joomla's frontend with your admin username. A user record will be created in Magento with this users email as the identifier for Magento.
3. Now you can set Magento to Master and Joomla to slave.
4 Set Joomla's int plugin options to allow people logging in with their email i.s.o username
The above procedure makes sure that there will be a userrecord in Magento with a 'sister' record in Joomla that has admin rights.

Re: Preventing Joomla admin lockout with Magento plugin
How can I resolve the admin lockout? I made the mistake of configuring before reading the documentation and locked myself out as a result.

Thanks ... I don't think it is, but I'll start a new thread with my error so as not to confuse this one.
