dual login

Postby marzar on Fri Nov 11, 2011 1:40 pm

User Synchronisation ok I connect in Joomla to Moodle can not be a problem for the Cookie Domain and Cookie Path where I find this date on moodle?
Different domains If you cannot get dual login to work

some functions require access file in moodle, but i believe it has nothing to do with use Sync, you know Could Have 1 server and 1 server in the U.S. and in Europe you can still make it work.

Just Know That You Need to open up the database connection.

Just use cookie domain and path that you see when you go to moodle and login

Ah does this solve the reverse dual login issue so that Joomla can be front page but registration handled via moodle ?
This was asked in 2009 and 2010 but I saw this thread and had to wonder

The reason this would be so helpful is that moodle allows registration for classes both free and paid registrations so if it can be used for registration it would make using joomla for education much easier
