SSO Request for Ideascale and Axosoft Ontime
Software Name: Ideascale and Axosoft
Software URL: ideascale.com, axosoft.com
Fiscal Budget: We're not sure what to charge at this point. Bidding is appreciated, along with examples of work (we're looking for the best person here, not necessarily the cheapest!)
Time Frame: 2 weeks (though, closer to one week would be better)
Comments:
We need two SSO plugins for jFusion, one to connect to a forum with Ideascale, and one to connect to a product/support request system with Axosoft Ontime.
Both provide resources for connecting to them via SSO:
Ideascale: http://support.ideascale.com/kb/ideasca ... okie-based
Axosoft: http://www.axosoft.com/Support/docs/adm ... rnally.htm
We're using K2 for user registration for this, and would like the SSOs to work when a user logs in via that K2 login.
Please contact me with any questions! Thank you!

Re: SSO Request for Ideascale and Axosoft Ontime
Well, the most eperienced ones are of course the JFusion programmers like Fanno and I
Now a few remarks:
1/2 weeks is impossible. Even when you know the software in question thouroughly we need up to 40 hours of development time per plugin. Thus for two plugins up to 80 hours (simple math...) The actual time spent depends on the complexity of the software, the availability of the code (eg not encrypted cq obfuscated) and such. We can do encrypted websites, but the time will go up above the 80 hours a lot.
This should give you some idea on what a quality (programmed AND tested) plugin will cost you. Our standard estimation is around the 750 euro or 1000 dollars per plugin. Personally I lower the price if you are willing to put the code into the open source space.
As you may have noticed Fanno and I are working hard to get a 1.6 stable JFusion version ready. So I'm certain neither of us will have time within the next two weeks.
After that we can talk. Or maybe you find someone capable of and willing to do this this in those two weeks for less money. I sure will take my hat off for such a programmer.

Thanks for the feedback! Looks like were wrangling together an internal solution, so I don't think we'll need to get someone to build us the plugins at this point, but I definitely appreciate having the points of reference both on pricing as well as length of time for this sort of project, in case of a future additional SSO need. Good luck with 1.6!
