Postby J77J on Thu Jul 26, 2012 6:31 pm

Hi All,

would anyone be interested in writing a plugin to allow dual reverse login functionality for Joomla Ext?

what would you be looking for payment wise for this?

feel free to pm me if its something you could do,

cheers,

Johnny

Why not installing a second JFusion in Joomla ext. Then point there joomla_ext to your original Joomla_int. Should work..

OK,

before I start what should I have the settings as?

what would be slave master etc?

I assume on the new instance of jfusion in the original joomla_ext this will be joomla_int as master and joomla_ext as slave? or would it be the other way around?

thanks,

johnny

Well, actually the only feature we needed was a mechanism to prevent endless loops. We have that in place since 1.5. So when yopu login on one joomla JFusion will, using the ext plugin login on the öther "Joomla" without trying to login back again. Thats all. The mechanism is explained in a document of mine a few years ago where we had a discussion about DSLO. I have put in the "host"stuff to (host == one of the Joomla's with Jfusion that connect other plugins.

I have not tested it with 1.7 and 1.8 though, so I hope that all code has survived. :-) That's for Johnny to test: quid pro quo.
