Postby jorgen on Mon Jul 27, 2009 5:40 pm

Please fill up the following form to enjoy free support from our Team. No Support will be provided in case this form is not filled up!

1. Have you searched the forums and checked the documentation section for a solution?
Yes, I've searched and could not find this issue

2. Please summarize your problem in a few lines.
Running with Joomla as slave, SMF 1.1.10 master, frameless.
When changing user password in SMF user-profile, I get an error-message

3. What steps will reproduce the problem?
Go to user profile in wrapped SMF, change password.

4. What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to return to user profile, but got a page with this text:
Code: Select all
Fatal error: session_start() [<a href='function.session-start'>function.session-start</a>]: Failed to initialize storage module: user (path: C:\xampp\tmp) in C:\xampp\htdocs\smf_forum\Sources\Load.php on line 1954

-But I'm glad to report that the password was successfully changed, despite of the error page.

5. You must include a printout of the login checker in the JFusion component.

Absolutely.

But I am a little unsure when to use the forum, and when to use the bugtracker.
I thought the issue should be discussed in the forum first, and if it turns out to be a bug (not bad config or something), then it should be opened a case in the bugtracker.
Anyway, I created the cse now ;-)

hehe i did not even see that the first time or i would have not suspected a bug. as wrapper is not inside joomla.

I assume it works fine when not running inside joomla and stand alone ?

i do not have a smf2 plugin that works with 1.1.3 anymore, so you will have to use the SVN ( which is pity broke atm ), you can post in the smf2 testers request forum maybe one of the other testers still have the file and can email it to you.

and only supported here:
