JFusion needs support specialists!
Greetings, beloved users of JFusion!
We need your help! As the release of v1.0.7 is sneaking up on us we feel a need to start expanding JFusion's support staff, as we imagine a lot of new and exciting (hehe) support requests are bound to pop up as the completely overhauled version is put in your lap for the community to toy with.
Would you like to join the JFusion Team as a 'Support Specialist'?
Just look through the requirements and pluses below, then if you match some or most of the skillsets we're looking for here then just go right ahead and send a PM via this forum to Erlend/"Sadr" and Marius/"admin"!
We will only accept PMs. Do not apply for the team by posting in this thread. Replies to this topic should be concerning questions and reactions to this recent event.
Required:
After putting a group of "Support Specialists" on trial, the core group of supporters should be the ones still standing. Among these, we might select one to be the "head of the department", who'd be expected to do that "little extra", like keeping more in frequent touch with me and Marius.
I'm hoping for a lot of applications. I'll be spending and hour here and there in my free weekend in order to sort through your applications in close collaboration with Marius of course. I'll give you a little progress update this sunday, but the actual results will have to wait until at least next week, maybe a tiny bit longer.
Good luck to every one of you!

We've received a few really good applications so far. We wouldn't mind having a couple more applicants in consideration, so please don't hesitate sending us that PM!

Very good initiative Sadr!
Unfortunately I can not fulfil those requirements to be a support specialist but I will for sure support and test this new dev version when ready.
Keep up this very good and smart Joomla component for sure people!
All the best!

Either at the end of this day or tomorrow morning I should have the confirmation I need from Marius, then I'll be announcing our new support specialists and this "event" will be over. We'll always be on the lookout for more dedicated individuals to add to the support staff however, but we're gonna start out with this small group, hopefully get well established, and then we migh be ready to take in another one here and there.

Re: JFusion needs support specialists!
Hi to all Jfusion Team.
I'm may join the test team if you need more people (as i already said to marius). I'm not really good at developping on J!1.5 (just started few weeks ago) but i have a good knowledge about joomla 1.0 and 1.5 (see my posts on joomlafrance.org). I also know well Community Builder and How to use it so I may help for the testing on Joomla 1.5 (with or without CB) and with several forum (Vbuleetin, phpBB,...).
When done i may create some tutorials to help the community in configuring the component.
NOTA : I may also help for the tanslations (english to french -> my home language).
