Dual Login doesn't work at all - VB 3.84

2. Please summarize your problem in a few lines.
dual login doesn't work at all, in any way and direction: log in/log out, first login to VB or first login to Joomla, with VB as master and Joomla slave and viceversa.
My setup: local xampp 2.5 installation, with VB 3.84 PL1, Joomla 1.5.18 and JFusion 1.5 (db are correctly synced and plugins enalbled)

3. What steps will reproduce the problem?
If i login on Vbulletin and refresh Joomla page i'm not logged in joomla, and viceversa. Same with logout

4. What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i don't see autologin, as explained above

5. You must include a printout of the login checker in the JFusion component.

NOTE:
i'm not able to change cookie domain of vb, i mean i've tried to change it to .mydomain.com (.gamestown.net for my site) in vb admin panel but when i logout i can't re-login (and i must use tools.php to restore blank)
maybe i'm wrong, but i suppose that in local installation .mydomain.com as cookie domain is not right, it must be blank
Other this, If you set cookie domain to .mydomain.com in Jfusion vb plugin, jfusion continue to warning reporting "vbulletin: Dual login might work best with the following cookie path /" but cookie path is already /

Don't put it there put it in the vb config area of the jfusion plugin.

i'm only testing local installation now using xampp and db backup... (my vb forum is already active, if i solve all issues then i will install joomla and jfusion on web site), then i can't give you access (i can only give you access to vb forum "live", but there i don't have joomla, i suppose is useless) ...thanks anyway

Ok, the only place you need to put the .domainname.whatever in is in the jfusion configuration file area in jfusion when you go through the set of the configuration, it tells you up the top when you are setting it up that you need to put that in the two areas one is the .domain.whatever and the other is the / . You don't put it in vbulletin itself. But after you had configured the plugin, you need to look towards the bottom of the fields and there is one there that says install plugin to vbulletin, when you do that go into the products of the vbulletin admincp, and make sure you save the plugins, you should see jfusion listed at the top. Once you have done that, logout have a blank browser window open no others and clear your browser history, cookies etc and then try logging into the front end of joomla and see if the dual login is then resolved for you.

mmm.... are you sure? i have read in installation istruction that cookie domain ad cookie path must be the same in vb plugin and in vb options (from vb admin panel)
however i set as you say... i've put .mydomain.com (.gamestown.net for me) ONLY in vb plugin, in the field "cookie domain". I leaved cookie path as is, because is already /

....but after i saved this set.... i get this warning

i already have made this before, and after those operations... i got a problem: i can't login in vb!
I mean i insert name and pw in vb login module, but after i get a blank window
...but i can still login to admincp!

the only way i finded to relog in vb forum is to restore my previous Vbulettin DB backup

i tried many times after your post, and i finded when this happen: when i am in the VB admin panel / plugin manager (where i see the Jfusion plugin), and i save below and logotu... exactly after this i cant relogin in vb forum. I think Is that "save" the cause.... no matter if then i empty the cache and cookie, i can't login in vb, I tried wiht IE and FF, and wiht my admin user and a test-registered user, can't login.

ah... i set cookie domain in vbplugin blank as before, and i re-tried whit this set.... after "save" and logout... same result, can't login

i've just tried to disable ALL others plugin in VB plugin manager, leaving only Jfusion dual plugin (to exclude conflict issues)... but same result, i can't login in Vbulletin forum.. can login only in VB admin panel

Disabling Jfusion dual login plugin from vb amin panel/plugin manager, i can login! Then the problem is the plugin..

then i tried to deletethe Jfusion dual login plugin, ad reinstalled it in Jfusion VB config... then i saved the plugin status (from Vb admin panel/plugin manager), leaving ALL others plugins disabled.... nothing, same result: can't login in vb forum


... the Jfusion Dual Login Plugin seem is the problem


please help.... i have no hint now, don't know what else i can try... near to throwing the towel

ehm.... after a few testing... i noticed that after save plugin status and cleared cache, if i login to joomla... i auto-login on vb too...
and after this if i logout from VB i auto-logout from joomla too

but still i can't login in vb directly, and if i logout from joomla i stay logged in VB....
