Can mods be removed from joomla forum page?

I have successfully embedded my phpbb forums into my joomla site using Jfusion. I have a problem though, the mods that are on my site's home page are carrying over to my forum page and making the forums super skinny. Is there anyway to remove those mods in order to make the forums a decent width across?
