Get involved!Posted by Erlend Sogge Heggen in People, News, myblog, Documentation, Development, ChipIn |

Finally, I have now published a new section on the website, called 'get involved'. You might have seen similar pages with other open source projects before, and that is because they aim to educate users on one of the most important factors of open source development: How you, like anyone else, can take an active part in the project you've come to love, and do your fair share to speed things up.
Now, about what you might be missing...
First off, I would like there to be more articles associated with the whole 'get involved' theme. Some might be around but have slipped my attention, others are just not written yet. A good example would be introductionary articles. Imran has come a long way with his 'development introduction' already, but we're still missing proper introductions for designing, testing, documentation and support. Please consider writing one!
Second, some parts of the layout is still a little crooked, and an extra snippet of content here and there is yet to come. Anyone is welcome to make suggestions for improvements to these articles, regarding look, feel, everything.
The index page of the section... Oh wise community, have thee any good ideas as to what I might put on this page? I was thinking about a site-map, listing every single URL in some way associated with one of the four current categories. What do you think?
Lastly, I would like to take a minute to make a brief announcement. If you read the 'contributions' page, you might find that I have oh so cunningly inserted a small line about JFusion being in need of a capable webmaster. And we do! If you think you might be of service to us, get in touch.
