Community Builder Plugin Updated to 1.0.2Posted by Alan in Untagged |
|
The CB plugin has been updated. It now has the feature where the user's activation status is updated in slave softwares when a user is activated in CB.
Before, the user had to first login to Joomla after activating their account (or after the admin approves their account) before the user could log into slave softwares. If they had tried to login into a slave software first after activating their account, they would have been greeted with a "you are blocked" or "you are inactive" message. This update fixes that by using CB's plugin API by calling up JFusion when CB activates the account.
Also, see this post to find out how to add code to force Joomla to correctly pull a user's activation/block status from CB. This has been added to SVN to be part of the next release of JFusion.
Thanks,
Alan

ok just saw this:
Hey Phil,
Just wanted to let you know that I've updated our CB plugin (available in our downloads section) to force JFusion to activate the user in slave softwares (ie phpBB) when the user is activated in CB. This should fix the above issue.
Just as a FYI, can't say for sure if the same issues will apply to JomSocial or not. Its been while since I've played with it.
Thanks,
Alan

I have joomla 1.5.19, CB 1.2.3, and phpBB 3.0.7-PL1 installed and working fine. However, I can't seem to get JFusion operational.
Am I to only install the JFusion CB plugin 1.0.2 via the CB Plugin module? Or, do I install both JFusion modules?
How do I integrate joomla, CB, phpBB, and JFusion?
Thanks, Steve
